To be eligible for the RYA Powerboat Instructor Course, you must:
Hold the RYA Powerboat Level 2 certificate
Have at least 5 seasons of powerboating experience (this can be reduced for those with commercial experience)
Hold a valid RYA First Aid certificate or an equivalent recognised qualification
Have passed the RYA Powerboat Instructor Skills Assessment (this must be done prior to attending)
Be at least 16 years old (18+ for working independently)
